Daxonet AI Surveillance Checking is a computer-vision platform that turns the existing CCTV cameras at your factory, warehouse, retail premises or facility into a 24/7 safety, security and compliance auditor for Malaysian businesses. It covers six detection classes: PPE compliance (helmet, vest, goggles, gloves, steel-toe boots, hairnet), restricted-zone monitoring (forklift zones, machine guards, electrical rooms, after-hours loading bays), safety-incident detection (slip-and-fall, line crowding, machine entry without lock-out-tag-out), occupancy and crowd monitoring, after-hours intrusion plus perimeter alerts, and smoke, fire or spill early warning where calibrated. The platform integrates with Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Bosch and generic IP cameras, so there is no rip-and-replace. Inference runs on a small edge box on your premises, so only event records and thumbnails leave the site, never raw video, which keeps the deployment PDPA-aligned with face-blurring, role-based access and 7-year audit retention. Daxonet generates customer-audit-ready reports for DOSH, ISO 45001 and MNC supplier audits with one click. Alerts route to SMS, Microsoft Teams or WhatsApp. Data residency is the Singapore region. A typical Malaysian deployment pilots 4 cameras in 3 weeks and scales to the rest of the plant in 6 to 10 weeks.

3 reasons CCTV alone fails
What is surveillance actually missing without AI on top?
Your cameras already record 24/7. The problem is nobody is reviewing the footage until something has already gone wrong.
24 / 7hours of footage no one watches
Your CCTV is footage nobody reviews · until after the incident
Security guards rotate, supervisors leave at 6pm, the night shift has one person watching 32 monitors. Most safety incidents are only caught when someone files a report, opens the DVR and scrolls back through hours of recording. AI Surveillance Checking watches every feed every second and flags the moment the rule is broken.
90 daysPPE history MNC auditors expect
MNC customer audits ask for 90-day PPE compliance reports · all you have is a hard drive
When a Tier-1 customer like Panasonic, Toyota or a global retailer runs a supplier audit, they want a quantified PPE compliance report by zone, by shift, by week. A pile of NVR recordings is not a report. AI Surveillance Checking generates that report on demand from event records that have been logged automatically since day one.
02 : 14when after-hours intrusion went unseen
After-hours intrusion at 2am · the guard did not see the alert until morning
Loading bays, electrical rooms and perimeter fences are highest risk after closing. A guard at the gate cannot see every camera and a false-alarm-prone PIR sensor gets ignored within a week. AI Surveillance Checking runs intrusion detection that is fine-tuned to your site so the alert that goes to your phone at 2am is real, not a stray cat.
6 detection classes · monitor bank
What does the AI actually look for on every camera?
Six tuned detection classes covering safety, security and compliance · each shipped with measured Malaysian-deployment accuracy. Each card below is a stylised preview of what the AI sees on a live feed.
No rip-and-replace · plug into the cameras you already have.
Daxonet integrates with Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Bosch, Uniview and any RTSP or ONVIF compliant IP camera. The AI runs on a small edge box on your premises and reads from your existing NVR or VMS · old analogue DVRs are supported via a small encoder per zone. The cameras you bought last year keep working · they just get smarter.
Reads from existing NVR · VMS · DVR via RTSP or ONVIF
Edge box per 8 to 32 streams · sub-60 watt power draw
No camera replacement · keep the wiring and angles you already have
Daxonet sizes the box during the free walkthrough · fixed-price quote
Edge inference · PDPA-aligned
Only events plus thumbnails leave the site · raw video stays on premises.
Inference runs on the edge box next to your NVR. Faces are blurred by default on any human imagery surfaced in dashboards or alerts. Cloud receives event records and small thumbnails, never the live video stream. Bandwidth use is roughly one thousandth of what cloud-only platforms consume · and the plant keeps running even if the internet drops.
Face-blurring applied by default · safety officer can request lift with audit trail
Role-based access · only authorised viewers see incident footage
7-year audit retention default · configurable per detection class
Singapore region data residency · PDPA + ISO 27001 + SOC 2 aligned
Edge box · on-premises
0 raw video uploaded
Customer-audit reports · ready
What does the customer audit actually want · and how does the report look?

FAQ · safety officers ask
Common questions before booking the surveillance walkthrough.
01Does AI Surveillance Checking work with our existing Hikvision or Dahua CCTV?
Yes. Daxonet integrates with Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Bosch, Uniview and any RTSP or ONVIF compliant IP camera. There is no rip-and-replace · we tap into your existing NVR or VMS and run the AI on a small edge box on your premises. If your cameras are old analogue with a DVR, we add a small encoder per zone rather than replacing the whole system. The pilot starts with 4 cameras so you can see the AI behaviour on your real footage before scaling.
02What edge box hardware do you install · what does it cost?
Pricing is scoped to your size, modules and integrations. Daxonet quotes fixed-price after a short scoping call so there are no surprises. Most clients reach payback within the same project window.
03How does PDPA compliance work for surveillance with AI looking at staff?
Three controls. First, edge inference means raw video never leaves your premises · only event records plus blurred thumbnails go to the cloud dashboard. Second, face-blurring is applied by default to any human imagery surfaced in reports or alerts · the AI still detects PPE and behaviour, it just does not retain identifiable faces. Third, role-based access means only authorised safety officers see footage tied to a specific incident, with a full audit log and 7-year retention. Daxonet documents all three controls for your PDPA officer and your customer auditors.
04How accurate is detection in Malaysian factory low-light or heat-haze conditions?
Helmet and vest detection runs at 99.2% accuracy, restricted-zone breach at 98.6%, slip-and-fall at 96.4%, smoke and spill early-warning at 94.1%. The model is fine-tuned on Malaysian factory and warehouse footage during the pilot, including night-shift low-light, monsoon-season haze and oil-mist environments common in metal fabrication and food processing. If a specific zone has a camera angle or lighting that trips the model, Daxonet recalibrates that zone in 1 to 2 days and re-runs the validation.
05Where do alerts go · can my safety officer get a WhatsApp message?
Alerts route to whatever channel your safety team already lives in. SMS to the on-duty officer, WhatsApp to a Daxonet-managed group with the incident thumbnail, Microsoft Teams to the EHS channel, email to a distribution list, or a webhook into your existing incident-management system. Each detection class can have a different routing rule and a different threshold · for example, after-hours intrusion always pages the night manager, PPE non-compliance only logs to the daily report unless the same worker is flagged 3 times in a shift.
06What does the customer-audit report actually look like · can we send it to our MNC client?
Three reports are bundled. PPE Compliance Report shows daily, weekly and 90-day rolling compliance percentages by zone, with thumbnails of non-compliance events. Incident Timeline shows every safety event in the chosen window with timestamp, zone, class and verdict. Restricted-Zone Heatmap shows entry density by shift and by zone. All three export to PDF and CSV with a Daxonet-stamped audit-ready format that has been accepted by Panasonic, Novelis and several Tier-1 automotive OEMs in Malaysia. DOSH and ISO 45001 audit formats are included.
07What does pricing look like · per camera or per month?
Pricing is scoped to your size, modules and integrations. Daxonet quotes fixed-price after a short scoping call so there are no surprises. Most clients reach payback within the same project window.
08How long until it is live across our plant · what does the rollout look like?
The pilot is 3 weeks: site walk and camera audit week 1, edge install and model fine-tune week 2, supervised live run week 3 with the safety officer reviewing every alert. Plant-wide rollout takes a further 6 to 10 weeks depending on camera count and the number of detection classes per zone. Daxonet handles change management with the safety officer team and runs a bilingual training session in EN, CN and BM so the people on the ground actually use the dashboard.
Book a 60-minute surveillance walkthrough. Daxonet's vision engineer walks your site, audits your existing CCTV, identifies blind spots, quotes the 4-camera fixed-price pilot. No commitment.
